As an avid multi-sport athlete growing up, I could get away with eating anything I wanted because of my high metabolism. I quickly realized at the end of high school that my performance significantly increased when I started focusing more heavily on what I was putting into my body for fuel. I left Charlotte, NC & moved to Raleigh to study Nutrition Science at NC State where I became borderline fanatical about living a healthy lifestyle and helping others around me in their pursuits as well.
